  • Based in Business Bay, Dubai; an investor in Dubai himself since 2023.

A career in banking, IT and then real estate

Raised in Belgium, Mago began his career in the Belgian banking sector before spending a decade managing high-stakes projects at Stellantis/Leasys, Wilink and Odoo as an IT project manager, Business Analyst and Scrum Master.

He holds a Master's degree in management sciences from the University of Namur and a Bachelor's degree in international business (ESA), and has been a certified Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) since 2021 and Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2026.

After living in Australia, Tenerife, Turkey and Thailand, he compared the taxation, regulation and returns of several markets, then invested in Dubai himself in 2023, before making it his profession.

What this dual background changes for you

  • Financial reading: every opportunity is put into numbers (total price, DLD fees, service charges, prudent net yield, exit scenario).
  • Defining the need: goal, budget, time horizon and target tenant are defined before talking about projects.
  • Structured follow-up: from the first conversation to the transfer at the Dubai Land Department, with a progress check at each payment.

How the support works

  1. Discovery call: goals, total budget, tax residence, timeframe.
  2. Selection: three to five units compared, off-plan or secondary, with the transaction data available.
  3. Checks: developer, escrow account, project status, contract, payment plan.
  4. Reservation and signing: remotely or on site.
  5. Follow-up: payment schedule, handover, letting or resale.
